I am seeking your assistance in resolving an ongoing issue with our UK seller account, which has been closed due to VAT registration complications.
Our business, Cute Cutz Grooming Limited, is established in Ireland VAT-registered in Ireland IE and registered for VIES in the EU.
Background of the Issue:
• We were offered the opportunity to start FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon), and we shipped products twice to UK warehouses to test the program.
• We attempted to register for a UK VAT number using Taxually. However, the process was far from straightforward, and eventually, we ran out of time because:
• Taxually required documentation proving active storage and shipping within the last 6 months.
• Our last shipment to the UK warehouse was older than six months, and we had no other activity to provide as evidence.
As a result, we couldn’t obtain a UK VAT number, and consequently, our UK store was closed.
Inventory Issue:
• Upon the closure of our store, we requested the return of all our products from the UK warehouses.
• Despite submitting the removal order, 9 items remain in your warehouse and continue to incur storage fees.
• We have been informed that two sales occurred that require VAT payment. We are fully prepared to settle this VAT amount immediately to move forward.
Our Request:
We are eager to resolve this issue, stop the storage fees, and reopen our UK store by converting our account from FBA to FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant).
We kindly ask for your help with the following:
1. Manually remove these 9 items from the warehouse system or alternatively:
• Destroy the items, or
• Ship them to an address we can provide.
2. Allow us to pay the outstanding VAT amount for the two sales so we can clear this obligation.
3. Assist us in transitioning our account back to FBM, enabling us to resume business operations on the UK marketplace.
The value of the 9 remaining items does not justify the ongoing storage costs, and we are willing to accept any practical resolution to remove them from the system.
We genuinely want to resolve this issue amicably, comply with all requirements, and get our UK store operational again.
We have been in limbo with Amazon support for years now and we can't get anyone to resolve our problems.
Is there anyone else who had similar issues who could help us?
