Not another vtr question!
i asked for help in regard to vtrs.
the main advice is ring your carrier and demand a higher scan rate. a stock answer?
so ok, i say “how many times” the one agent i spoke to said 5 to 6 times that i have already contacted ROYAL MAIL in regard to low scans. she the agent said that 5 times is now acceptable, and AMAZON would except this a good way to go about this, a valid reason for lower scores. in that you the seller have made an attempt to improve your vtrs scans.
But, every other numerous agents drawns a blank. i have asked should i contact Royal Mail 5 times, 10 times every day. a endless loop appears it seems.
one agent said i had a valid point, but he couldn`t give me an answer to how frequent i had to contact the carrier.
thus does AMAZON have an accepted numer of times officially a seller has beg/demand royal mail to hit the magic 95%? thus helping a seller protect themselves.
cheers…

Yes, they are just quoting the policy.
No, they don’t. At least not a published one and i would almost take it for certain there isn’t an unpublished one either since it would make no sense. What they have said is they will verify tracking where it is a non-scanning issue.

We buy all our RM stuff via Amazon. Its hassle but we are used to it now and it keeps Amazon happy
For the first time ever I got an official response to give to Amazon from RM the other day. The actually admitted poor practice regards tardy 1st scans and promised to improve

We’ve stopped using RM. We were mainly sending Small parcels, Our DPD rate is 90p more than RM 2nd class signed for small parcel but you get the fully tracked service. If we sell something and it gets ‘lost’ or not scanned we ended up having to re-fund, out of that refund and the loss of the item you can afford to pay for quite a few parcels to be sent by DPD, so the losses balanced it out. We now have 100% VTR
