Seller University, nothing else is of any use, first of all, review the policies that will protect Seller, sharing information does not benefit anyone, solve the problems in the forums and help them, you are doing nothing but making everything difficult,

They should get to work in the verification department so that they speed up the process instead of posting videos or better respond when there are problems that they don't even do that. THEY DO NOT WORK AS THEY SHOULD

"...what topics or improvements would you like to see included in the platform "

Make the 'Sign Up' process much, much clearer, with better explanation of the two account types and two selling plans, and what is involved and required to be a business seller regarding tax, VAT etc. Too many people simply click on the 'Sign Up' button without even reading the small print, and wonder why they have been charged £30 ! , and do not even understand they have to register as a business.

Someone, ages ago (another seller) devised a step-by-step flow chart of steps to take which was excellent, as it made sure all new sellers knew exactly what they needed to do and did not jump in before taking the necessary steps of registering with HMRC (or VAT if non-UK resident) etc. Too many new sellers think that it is just a case of buying goods to sell on to make some extra income..

By the time new sellers even know about Seller University they have often already made several mistakes, because they do not fully understand the process. Before even being able to click on the 'Sign Up' button they need to be made aware of the other requirements.

The search is awful, its a disincentive to use SU.

For instance last time I tried to use SU I wanted to know more about a much discussed element of selling here - the buy box, yet look at the results if you enter that, there's nothing even remotely about it.

Results presented as a bunch of tiles are not a great way to present a search anyway but even if I'm willing to work with the tiled format, there's nothing to help with learning specifically about the buy box. The top tiles are buy shipping, case pack templates then print box labels and several others of no use.

Ok so I hear you saying 'but buy box is depreciated as a term, its Featured Offer now' so lets assume I have already made that connection without the help of SU and I search for Featured Offer? Well the top search result is a selling to business tile and nothing about Featured Offer. If I google however that absolutely knows what the buy box is and presents me dozens of articles and is far more user friendly.

Buy box may be a depreciated term but people still use it and it should at least be searchable as a glossary item if nothing else. Can we really call it a University if such a common subject of interest can't be found?

@Simon_Amazon I am struggling with filling of and uploading data and files.

I like to see more format and medium of learning like flow-charts, videos. Also if practical, interactive formats to help with learning on several things related to listings.

Parent and child ASINS seem to be totally confusing because when they are created, it looks brilliant. After all while, they seem to be separated totally and that's when listings and the catalogue suffers. I think more information or interactive learning or video learning with the help of examples may help, well this is the format I like to see.

In August 1973 a tv programme for children was launched - it was called

"Why don't you just switch off your television set and go and do something less boring instead?"

So my suggestion to Amazon in July 2024 is

"Why don't you just switch off the bots, stop the endless requests for feedback and go and do something more useful instead?"

Seller University has been a game-changer for me as an Amazon seller. The educational videos are incredibly helpful, especially when I was just starting out. They cover everything from setting up your store to optimizing listings and managing ads, making it easier to navigate the complexities of selling on Amazon.

One area I’d love to see more content on is advanced advertising strategies and case studies of successful sellers. It would also be great to have more interactive content or webinars for real-time learning and Q&A sessions.

Overall, Seller University has been a fantastic resource, and I look forward to seeing it grow and improve!

DOES IT TELL YOU HOW TO WIN AN A TO Z CLAIM EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE PROOF THAT THE DELIVERY WAS MADE AND YET YOU IGNORE IT?
