Do Amazon pay the VAT on sellers behalf

Hello,

On our monthly activity summary we download from Amazon, it looks like TAX in the bottom right hand corner is vat paid by Amazon on our behalf? It is roughly 20% of our income, so it looks like it could be VAT. I guess I’m trying to find out whether I still need to pay VAT on Amazon sales, or is it paid by Amazon. We are VAT registered, so I obviously don’t want to be paying it twice!
Regards, Ivan.

If you are vat registered in the UK and are based in uk, you have to declare and pay vat to hmrc

The figure on the main left box with income on that date range report is the vat exclusive income, the tax on the bottom right is the vat amount on your sales
