Selling products without GTINs

Help needed! I want to list some products which I have bought from wholesalers. They do not seem to have GTINs or UPCs- or at least not that I can find. There is an option to apply for exemption, but I’m not sure if I can do that with wholesalers. Has anyone applied for an exemption for wholesale products? And sold them on Amazon? Any help would be much appreciated.

Are these generic unbranded products?

If yes, then you should definitely apply for an exemption.

Just make sure that you can resell the products on Amazon and they don’t infringe on anyone’s intellectual property rights.
