Amazon Total Balance Issues
Hi Guys,
We are experiencing an issue that I am very worried about at the moment.
Over the past 8 days, we have made £20,000 in sales via Amazon, this equates to 700 orders. Out of those 700 orders we have dispatched 540, all with tracking. However, out total balance is £3000 less than the total sales that we have shipped.
I am fairly new to Amazon having only started in April however I know how the payment schedule works. We have tried opening a case with SS and the case got transferred then closed!
I noticed the other day that our daily sales figure seemed to be glitching out. That day we had made £3,500 in sales with no cancellations, however, an hour later the figure changed to £1,300! I believe this is the culprit as to why our total balance is incorrect.
Is anyone else having/had this issue at all? It worries me that this can happen with Amazon as sellers can easily be short-changed for the sales they have made if they don’t notice this.

go to reports - payments and on the graph on the bottom left you will see your account reserve total
all new accounts have a rolling reserve where your funds are released either 7 days after the last estimated order date of the order or 7 days after the tracking shows the item was delivered
don’t forget that out of your balance, amazon will also take all referral fees, subscription fees, advertising costs and FBA fees

Hi PeterB
Like you balance takes a while to update. Also applies to orders that have been shipped and pending does not clear down after the order has been shipped straight away.

This may be the fees which you may not have taken into account. You mentioned you are fairly new to this game. Make sure you’re making profit
