Help VTR rate
I have been selling on Amazon for years and do this as a 2nd job in addition to my full time work and looking after kids so excuse me if im not up to date on policies etc.
I have had my account suspended by the looks of it based on VTR rate. I have been dispatching items on 2nd class stamps/franking category for the last few years after I got caught out by the VTR previously but now it seems that this is no longer excluded. I use a Post Office business account to print my own 1st class post and don’t have issues with late deliveries etc and my feedback is very good. What do I need to do to get my account back open and to stay in good account health? I have probably missed email notifications.

you’ll need to appeal and going forward, enter your despatch info to include the service used and tracking numbers (PRN number if bought from PO) for LLs and Parcels
if you send letters, or your items don’t have any PRN etc, you’ll need to buy postage direct from amazon

That’s a lot more work than I currently do, if I buy from Amazon is it easy, can I use the printer and do I then need to enter anything? Seems a fuss for nothing

We had exactly the same issue last week. We are now buying the postage through Amazon. It’s a bit long winded but we had our listings restored straight away. It doesn’t cost any more, I just print them on my inkjet, cut them out and stick them on the package. There was an issue at first as I have always used Royal Mail letter post (2nd class) but this was also available after a little research.

I use 1st class and dispatch straight away but sometimes post a day late but having my settings based on 2nd class means I don’t have any issues with late deliveries. Another concern with posting through Amazon is I have to do it every day now and that eats into time I don’t have

Hi,
Sorry As Little Shop and Jilly B have pointed out , amazon are forcing you into buying postage through them for letters size ( At the moment ! ). This may still impact on you getting a free collection from Royal Mail should you send this size item .
