Identifying customers from product reviews
I probably know the answer to this one already, but we have a few negative reviews which we feel are unwarranted and although we have a fair idea that SS won’t remove them we thought it worth a try, if nothing else it creates a ticket and adds to the numbers complaining about unwarranted feedback, but SS are asking for the order IDs which we cannot give them because the customers have left feedback using aliases (no surprise there). They continue to cut and paste the usual resplies asking for them and I keep replying telling them I can’t identify the customer because Amazon allow people to submit reviews using aliases and I’ve already supplied the SKU for the product in question but IS there a way to identify the customer or am I sniffing glue here?.
Cheers

I raised a case this week regarding a product review which had made no sense at all, needless to say it was denied. However, when filling out the form in the contact section it did not ask me for an order ID, just a link to the review which was obtained by clicking on it - it then goes to the next page where I was able to copy the link. Are you sure you’re filling out the product review form?

Product Reviews can be left under anonymous names and have no links to order IDs. Amazon will not provide them to you and no action will be taken unless the submission is in a violation of the Community Guidelines in any way.
Here you can review the Amazon Community Guidelines:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201929730
If you believe that any of your reviews violates them, go into “Contact us” - “Products and inventory” and “Product reviews”.
Here you can submit a removal request which will take a few days to get reviewed, without the need to provide any order IDs.
