Urgent help needed with Box dimensions
Good Afternoon,
Can anyone please advise:
When I was doing the shipping plan I entered dimensions: 67 / 31 / 39.5 CM and my shipping plan was accepted. After I was reviewing Amazon policies and I found that maximum box dimensions can be 25inch on any side. That would be max 63cm on any side. I didnt have any warning or any problems when making a shipment plan. Could I potentially have problems when the shipment reaches Amazon Fulfilment centre? Should I ask my supplier to repackage goods to different dimensions, or if the shipment plan was accepted than there shouldn
t be any further issues down the line.
Supplier is ready to dispatch the goods, I would really appreciate if anyone could let me know what would be the best solution to this.
Kind regards
Naz

Your taking a chance on the delivery being rejected at the FC some are ok others are strict,up to you to take the risk or not.

Safest option is to get your supplier to re-box the stock.
Also make sure the boxes aren’t over 15kg (above this weight is currently restricted).

Shipment creation doesn’t necessarily block you from creating things outside of what they will accept. Sometimes that’s because there are circumstances where they do accept heavier or larger boxes but the system isn’t smart enough to realise when that shouldn’t apply.
My last shipment had 1 box which was heavier than they are supposed to accept. Shipment creation allowed it and it was received and processed with no issues. Could’ve gone very different though.

Thank you all for the replies. Its much appreciated. I will ask my supplier to re-box. I didn
t see anything in Amazon policies about 15 KG, just about 23 KG. Is that a temporary measure?
