Tricks to improve IPI?
Hi,
My current IPI is as follows -
Does anyone know how to increase the “In-stock Inventory” metric? Most of my inventory products are products I do not sell anyone, but because I have sold these in the past Amazon now bring down this metric. these products are no longer profitable so I will not be selling them again.
I still have high storage limits etc, but would like to increase my IPI and get as far away from the 500 mark as possible.
Thanks!

The in-stock metric is not bringing your IPI down at all - it is completely ignored in calculating your score. You can spend some time marking ASINs as non-replenishable / cleaning up your inventory, but it won’t change your score at all.
As you noted there’s no real benefit to being more over 500, but once you’ve resolved your stranded inventory the only factor that really matters is sell-through.

I wasn’t aware that the in-stock rate had no bearing but, if you don’t plan on selling them again anyway, why not just close and delete to bring that score up?

Incidentally, your sell through is a lot higher than mine (mine hovers around 3) but my IPI is just over 800.
Can you create disposal orders for the stranded inventory?
