VAT - Making Tax Digital

Hi
Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for a cheap/free way to comply with the new digital Vat requirements. I currently use excel and manually input data to the HMRC web page but understand I will need some form of Bridging software for my next VAT return.

Regards

Steve

Yes from 1st April all vat returns require this
There is a long list of suppliers on the hmrc website that they recommend
We use 123efiling and they are good - £15 a year for 4 vat returns

If your using anything like Xero etc, then it should be built in. So it could be a time to start looking at accounts packages.

If you can export your VAT return to a spreadsheet, VitalTax is only £12 a year. It’s the one we use and so does my accountant.

Hi

Sorry for coming back to the old subject. VitalTax and many of the other bridging providers are set up for IOs and Excel. Does anyone have a decent provider for Mac/Numbers

Thanks

S
