Used Product requesting for Invoice
Hi,
Wonder if anyone has any experience of this or any suggestions on how to resolve.
I sell Used products on amazon and have been for around 15 years +
A product i sell is Used Xbox One Slim Console ASIN B01M5FMXHZ
My listing has been removed from sale due to Inauthenticity claim, this is not correct and all my items are authentic, i very much doubt you can even get a fake one of these anyway.
Amazon have requested for Invoices for this item, naturally being Used i do not have invoices, i buy directly from customers in the same style as Music Magpie.
I have said this to support several times but they just always redirect me to the form to upload invoices.
Obviously i understand they need some kind of record to show these are genuine even if used but with no invoices how can i possibly show it, this means they have also frozen my stock held at FBA with no access to it due to this claim.
I have reached a point where right now i would be happy to get my stock back and just not sell them here anymore rather then all the hassle and time consumed. I have sold hundreds of them over the years but i know all to well how Amazon is so would be easier just to move on from it.
Anyone experienced this with Used items before ?
Was tempted to make invoices as my own supplier as i have seen sellers do this as to show they are manuafacturer of their own goods but really not sure if this would work with Used goods ?
Thanks for any help or advice.

there were quite a few similar posts in Q4 last year - for XBox and Playstation brands
even for Used
many large Brands such as Warner etc have also been reported to have been gated to many sellers - even as Used

Trading with new or used goods, as a business, you should keep receipts and invoices, not only for Amazon but for HMRC.
Could you contact the shop/seller you purchased the items from and ask for receipts/invoices? Amazon will not release your stock and funds until you prove the product is authentic and a receipt/invoice is the only way forward.
Keeping records is required by law for at least 5 years. You need them for your tax returns and HMRC also could request a check at any time.

Directly from customers, they send an email request for valuation, we send and then collect or send courier from customers address.
These are not sellers
, these are private individuals using same model as Music Magpie.
Actually probably would show via paypal as most are made by paypal payments, bank transfer or cheque so there is always a record trace, this is done for HMRC as we use Global Margin vat scheme so there is a record of payment , we log customer name and address, its a different model to that of New product.

This is still ongoing for me i have been opening cases and they always break down requesting me to upload invoices, mailed managingdirector@amazon.com and managingdirector@amazon.co.uk with no replies , stock still frozen with no way to recall the stock.
Has anyone else come across this at all ?
Any forum mods able to help ?

Hello @Pete127,
It is a difficult situation because your supplier in this case or multiple persons not a business.
I suggest in this case to attach to your appeal any documentation you have.
Here is a link to the information that can be requested to prove the authenticity of the product
Regards.
