Help?! Removal of Prime badge for trial of seller fulfilled Prime

I have been selling on Amazon for quite a few years, I send stock in for FBA and also on the SNL scheme, I also have the option to ship items myself. I have never had issues with this and my products displayed the Prime badge for stock with Amazon. I have noticed a considerable drop in sales and found my prime badge has been removed on certain FBA products that are fully stocked. On contacting Amazon they’ve told me im being reviewed for Seller Fulfilled Prime. This is the first i’ve heard of this. Amazon have said There is no official timeline for Trial Period since this is always depending on the volume of orders and your performance metrics. Yet my sales are down because i’m missing my Prime badge. Does anyone have any advice? Should I put my account on holiday so I only sell the items stocked with Amazon so surely I would gain the badge back?

Are you sure seller support haven’t got confused here? Your SFP performance should only affect whether the Prime badge is shown for your SFP listings. It definitely shouldn’t affect your FBA listings.

This has happened to me too. I received this message from Amazon when I asked about it:

I’d like to inform you that, Amazon have made changes to the Prime program and as per that update, sellers who currently offer products and are enrolled in FBA or SFP will see the Prime Badge replaced by a “FREE Delivery” message for certain offers. We cannot speculate about the impact on sales, but these offers will maintain Prime eligibility and display a “Free Delivery” message.

This is a disaster for me and probably most of you. I sell through FBA purely in order to get the PRIME badge - it was how it was sold to be in the beginning. FREE delivery is of no use to me - I offer that anyway in the UK.

Does anyone know why Amazon are making these changes and why we are not being informed properly.
