Seller support HELL

Whats the point in seller support when all they do is cut and paste responses ??? they don’t read the case notes, my listing has been surpressed for a week and no matter what I do to change it nothing works. Now they are demanding my ppc payment for a listing thats innactive .Are sellers just treated like s–t on here ???

I totally agree. My mini nightmare lasted three weeks and dealt with a combination of 45 people via email and phone calls. Anyway, I was told on Friday that you need to request a “member from the leadership team” contacts you in order to handle the case. I haven’t tried this as of yet but hope it helps.

Your storefront only shows one product however, when you click on it, under the ‘compare similaritems’, it has another product of yours
But the main image is not following policy which maybe why its suppressed

Frontline seller support is now mostly bots.You really have to persist to encounter a human SS rep and even then they are seldom much help.

Incidentally, £6.99 for a single alternative to a plastic bag!? :open_mouth:

I guess some buyers are willing to go the extra mile to buy into being green…:green_apple:

Both listings, aside from issues with the main image, are also contradictory in the size of the product. Both say they are small in the title, but one says large in the description and in the measurements. Both show a large in the photos.

It seems pointless contacting them most of the time. I’m on Handmade, so I am the only one who can list the item. Rather than spreadsheets, Handmade is set up with an Edit button and just change descriptions etc. However, my description on one product wouldn’t change - I wanted to include a silver chain instead of having an option for a silver plated one.
First response, change and wait 24 hours - my first message said that I’d done this a couple of months ago and had just realised it hadn’t changed. OK, try again.
Some random reply that said you need to ensure some product information is completed - wouldn’t tell me what, but all my other products listed had been done similarly.
Next response, we can’t identify the problem, please send screenshots.
The screenshot showed I was Handmade - so sent to Brand Registry.
Brand Registry closed the case as I’m not Brand Registered!
New case: Brand Registry picked it up - despite me saying that I’m NOT Brand Registered and gave me the spreadsheet to upload. I replied to say that on Handmade we have an Edit button to type in description.
Case just closed by Brand Registry.
I gave up and closed the listing - thus losing my 5* ratings on it (rather a shame), but have just had to set up a new product listing with a new ASIN and SKU.
Sometimes I have found Handmade helpful, but most of the time, I end up giving up.

So, I agree the cut and paste responses are often no use whatsoever (often they appear to have been sent from bots who don’t understand English either!) and then if they don’t know the answer, the case just appears to be closed as ‘answered’.

Yes!

I didn’t used to be this way. The rot set in about 5 years ago, then within the last year the bots started taking over. I don’t know why they even call it support any more because ‘support’ it certainly isn’t.

We are just a cash cow and so long as we pay and don’t complain that’s all they want.
