Increase in items not delivered

Has anyone else noticed a big increase in items not received? Since we have had to start using the Amazon printed label and paying through Amazon we have had 5 items not received in the last month alone. I only post out either letters or large letters and I always get them to check at the Post office that the labels are correct and enough post has been paid. (usually £1.25 and large letter £1.95)

We never seemed to have this problem when we just put stamps on the orders we sent out.

Thanks

yes, having real problems with Royal Mail. 20% of my deliveries are not scanned as being delivered. It's a huge and increasing amount. Impossible to say if they are late, lost/stolen in transit, or actually the royal mail just forgot to scan on delivery and the customers are scamming me, but whichever it is it is a disaster.....good luck

To be honest i'm not getting many INR's at all, are you sending with a delivery scan or just 1st class? I noticed when i changed to first class for a month rather than CRL24 i found a huge incread in INR's and that's because RM only scan approx 30% of first class letters, therefore amazons system will tell customers 'your item may be running late or lost' then some customers will email and say 'amazon's told me my parcel might be lost' when they actually have it. Granted there will be cases that are genuine. But ever since ive gone back to CRL24 im only getting one a month if that.

I recommend not using post offices ever. I always have a few missing on the rare occasion I visit them. Parcel post boxes or collections are basically 100% effective for me.

Yes, big problems with Royal Mail at the moment, we are fed up with them. There delivery performance is terrible, some orders on CRL 48 taking 2 weeks to get there. We have made steps to move shipments away from them including large letters which is the bulk of our shipments.

Royal Mail are a bit of nightmare at the moment, all these extra surcharges, peak, green, RCN etc but the performance is just not there. Now becoming more cost effective to switch to Yodel and we also get full end to end shipping.
