VAT Registration

Hi,

Registered for VAT, first day being the 1st October. VAT Certificate with my number came through yesterday and immediately updated my Amazon Account.

Amazon have advised they will be accounting for VAT from the 21st October on my account. How do I account for VAT on sales for the first 20 days is they do not provide a VAT report covering VAT over that period? I asked seller support and didn’t get an answer other than it will apply from the 21st close ticket.

You can account for the VAT yourself by working it out based on the sales - refunds for that period, just do a transaction summary report to cover that period.
