Hello everyone,
i have a question, I have two listing on the UK marketplace and until now I didn’t sell any thing
yesterday I logged in and I saw a message that I need to provide a UK VAT NO which I don’t have.
my resedint place is in Germany and i provide a DE VAT NO.
what should I do? I am really confused and I don’t want my account to get suspended or what ever.
can any body help me, please?

If you are storing your products in UK, for example at FBA, you need a UK VAT number.
If you are shipping from Germany, no, you don’t need a UK VAT number until you sell quite a lot.

IMPORTANT, there are lots of phishing (fraudulent) emails being sent that direct you to a site that is designed to steal your Amazon account details.
NEVER follow a link from an email claiming to be from Amazon, always look at your message center or performance notifications and follow links from there instead.
As Rugsy has said if you send your products from Germany to another EU country and your stock is held in Germany you do not need a VAT registration in those countries until you exceed their threshold. If you use Fulfilled by Amazon or another fulfillment service that stores your items in the country of sale, then you must register for VAT in that country as the registration threshold is Zero in those cases.
If you have followed a scam email link and entered your details, change your password immediately, and be sure to activate 2 factor authentication. If you were asked for any payment card information or bank account information you will have to cancel the payment card or contact your bank to ask their advice about having given your account details to a fraudulent site.
