For more information on prohibited and approved plugs, please search for the ‘Electrical Goods Requirements: Plugs and Sockets’ help page in Seller Central."
Amazon removing ASIN’s for incorrect plugs? All big built-in appliances have the same (hard wired) connection and this connection is used in entire Europe. This is ridiculous, they should then remove entire Built-In Large Kitchen Appliance category because all of those items (kitchen hobs, ovens, microwaves) use this connection. The hard-wired connection is not even on a prohibited connection list.

Amazon are correct. It would be illegal to supply in the UK an appliance fitted with a European-style plug. Consumer safety legislation requires all appliances to be supplied with a fitted plug that matches the electrical safety requirements of the local market. All the big appliance manufacturers will be able to supply market-specific products.
