Not getting sales on a high selling product.
Hi everyone. I want to know that how can I get sales on a product in a me too listing, in which almost 20 sellers are selling and if I lower the price, I'll be in loss and if I keep my price high, to be profitable, I don't get buy box. What strategy should I use to get sales on my listing?

Amazon selling is actually very simple, but only if sellers know how to turn a good profit in online retail sales.
- It all starts with selecting the products to sell. The Amazon site has over 600 million different products sold on the site. To keep your product selling, it has to be a product that buyers want and need and offered at the lowest possible price.
Amazon actually has an internal word they use when attending trade shows to select the products they sell. The word is C.R.A.P. Can't Realize A Profit. Amazon, as well as I and many successful sellers simply do not buy the product to sell at the wholesale level, if there is no profit in it because it cannot be sold at the lowest price.
- How many different products do you sell? It sounds like you are only concerned with one product. Selling one product will not get a seller anywhere for the time and effort put into the effort. You never went into a retail store that only sold one or Two products. They sell thousands of different products. That is what makes retail sales work. They do not all sell every day, but enough do sell every day that the focus is on just one product's sales.
- The Featured Offer (Buy Box) is not a right or a given. It is like the old Clairol TV commercial used to say, "Only your hairdresser knows for sure". Now just replace the hairdresser with Amazon. It is run by an Algorithm Bot that giveth and taketh away.
In addition, Amazon uses this as a ploy to entice sellers to use FBA but remember this. There can only be one Featured Offer for each unique product. Sellers seem to enjoy it when they have it and then complain when they do not. However, when a seller is disappointed with the loss of the featured offer, they seem to forget, another seller is happy with that loss, because it is their gain.
This week we are running 50,000 different listings FBA. Based on what was said above we could care less about the buy box, as it comes and goes over our many offerings.

Hey there @Seller_oLnHWpozi9Djwand welcome to the seller forums!
The best guidance I can provide for becoming the Featured Offer is to look to employ these best practices, and make sure your offers are eligible to be the featured offer. You might also be interested in reviewing this resource on strategies for driving sales without being the featured offer!
Hope this helps, and thanks again for posting,
