One pallet, same product, multiple FBA warehouse locations

Hello, any help would be much appreciated.

We have one pallet of 13 boxes. However, Amazon told us that 5 of these boxes will need to be sent to a different FBA warehouse. We will have a freight forwarder ship our pallet by air, and then store it in their warehouse (until UPS comes). Each box will have a UPS shipping label. That means we are going to pay UPS twice to come pick up the boxes (so 8 boxes can go to one warehouse, and the other 5 to another). Will this work? And has anyone done this?
The only problem I see is that the freight forwarder might not unwrap the pallet, and thus not prepare the boxes to be picked up by UPS.

P.S.

  • The pallet will not have any amazon FBA addresses on it, just the address of our freight forwarders warehouse in the UK.

  • We will pay for each UPS delivery through Amazon to save money

  • We’re using UPS, because LTL delivery will take much longer to go through customs and get to the FBA warehouses. We’re also not sending a lot of inventory.

yes… once they are on the box, book a collection… easiest via website and put one of the labels on it then you will not be charged for collection. They usually need a 5 hours window. Ours are pretty good and we got good relationship with the local depot; so always get good service.

why paying twice to come to pick up?

you need someone to open up the pallet and put on the UPS labels which you purchased on to each of the boxes and wait for UPS to pick up.

btw have you checked that you not got limit on the stock? there are qty restrictions on some products even we have been selling for years.
