Changing business information
I will be grateful if anyone shares their experience of changing the business structure in the Amazon account. I plan to open a company as a continuation of the sole trader, and I would hope Amazon will allow me to continue using my current account.

Please don’t worry as this is definitely possible but you will need to go through a lengthy account verification, during which Amazon may request you to provide them numerous documents and additional information and meanwhile, your account could be suspended.

We have just gone through the process of changing our company name on Amazon and it was relatively painless. Same company but we registered a change of name with companies house. Amazon requested photo ID for both directors then 24 hours later asked for a bank statement to verify company address. An hour later and we were all verified again.
