Your Pro Merchant subscription is cancelled

Just got an e-mail from Amazon saying:

“As you requested, your monthly Pro Merchant subscription has been cancelled.”

I did not request to cancel it.

Then another e-mail - at exactly the same time - saying:
“We reviewed your account and found that you have had a balance due for more than three weeks.”

This is not true. The £30 monthly fee was last charged to my credit card on 12/08/2020, so exactly 1 month ago. That is the day I signed up to FBA. I joined on a professional selling plan.

Could it be something to do with this:

How do I fix this?

I have just sent 500kg worth of goods to the Coventry warehouse yesterday.

I’m getting nowhere with support. All I get is copied & pasted responses:

“As per notification, you have had a balance due for more than three weeks. This can happen if you do not have a valid credit card on file with us or if you have recently changed your credit card.”

This is absolutely not true, at all.

The first charge was made on August 12 when I joined the FBA program.
The payment went through that day.

The next charge was yesterday on September 11.

So it is impossible that there was a balance due for 3 weeks or more.

See below:

This is going to cause havoc when the listings go live, and we get hit for an extra £0.75 for each item sold (due to downgrade to individual selling plan), despite paying for the professional selling plan.

I’ve “upgraded” the plan to professional today, but the payment for this month is still outstanding, despite the credit card being perfectly valid.
