Opened package wants refund
Hello,
A customer returned a product as they said it was an unwanted gift. We have the item but the cellophane has been opened rendering the item unsellable now.
Must we refund or can we say unfortunately you opened it so no refund?
Please advise.

The customer is allowed to open the product to inspect it, you can make some reduction for the fact that you can no longer sell it as new but you do have to refund.
