Hi everyone, I'm not sure who can help here but after hours talking to CS reps, and tons of submitted cases, I am kind of at my wit's end.
A while back my Amazon account was moved to an inactive state and required a Seller Identity Verification to refresh it. This was because I created the account months before product was ready to sell, and so I guess Amazon just revoked my Identity Verification (which had been approved previously) for not using it. When I went to do the verification, I got an error. And even logging out and logging back in got the error. There was no error code or anything, it just took me to a page that it said I didn't have access to. So it was impossible for me to actually get to the page they needed me to go to. After about 30 minutes of this, I was suddenly able to get into my account with full access. I assumed Amazon saw I logged in and revered the verification issue.
So I go to list a product, but it gets marked as Inactive. I talked to a CS rep, and they said I needed to Reques Approval for Amazon to review the item. And when I go to Request Approval it brings up a blank page. I keep being told my item is gated and I need to wait for it to be approved. But I have waited for weeks and had no movement on it getting approved. Well I finally went to the Help area and discovered it seems like my account is still flagged with a Seller Identity Verification issue, that I just can't access or see. Likewise, when I called a CS rep and brought this up, THEY also could not see what the issue is, and everything seemed okay on their side, but they could not access information for my Seller Identity Verification to see what the actual problem is
Has anyone ever experienced this? Is something messed up with the seller verification system or anything right now? Any workarounds? Thanks in advance.
