Account deactivation appeal

Hi, my amazon.de account was deactivated. Upon raising this concern with amazon I received a reply that I had old account and I can’t have multiple. So I went to the old, no longer used account and deleted it. It looks like this was a mistake.

Raised appeal and said I no longer own the account as it was deleted. Got reply that I need to reactivate old account first… but I can’t do anything now as it’s deleted.

Amazon is not very helpful, I got an option to submit additional documents but afraid to do as I have no idea what to upload. My initial appeal had all details. Not sure what to do now. Please advise
