A to Z clain in buyers favour but all evidence is very clear and definite this was delivered.

We had an A to Z case opened over night and the buyer was granted favour straight away and refunded (non delivery)

It was sent Royal Mail Tracked 24 with photo evidence and GPS. If the photo showed it being left at a door or ambiguous place then I wouldn't really fight this but the photo shows a man (faceless) holding the parcel in the open door way of the house with the house number AND street name. It's very brash. The GPS tallies with the address too and Google Street View shows this is the address. It's very definitely been delivered to this house. So I submitted this evidence as a response and still lost this. It was also delivered a day early than promised.

The kick in the teeth is that Amazon's response was "Because you provided sufficient information that proves the order was actually received by the customer, we will not count the claim against your Order Defect Rate." But they've still taken the funds from us... if they believe we've delivered it then this should not have come out of our funds surely?

Considering Amazon's response acknowledging they can see it was delivered, you might consider a Notice Before Action and, if you still don't have your funds, taking Amazon to the Small Claims Court.

Obviously depends on the value of the refund.

I appreciate this is easy for me to say, but the more of us that take that route, the more likely Amazon are to reform the A-Z system.

The customer could hold up a big sign at the front door whilst taking the delivery saying "I AM A SCAM BUYER" & Amazon will still refund them.

Like I have said countless times before it's not Amazon's money!

Depending on the value of the goods I would consider sending a Letter Before Action to Amazon asking them to pay the value of the item. Normally they will pay out as there is ample proof the customer received it and their decision was in the wrong.

Have you tried appealing the A-Z. You have a chance of getting your money back if you appeal. I have had a couple where on appeal Amazon have reimbursed me the money.

Get used to it unfortunately.

Same issue here. We had one the other week with a Customer. I had a Signature, Photo of the person, their house number and GPS, opened an A-Z Claim, in the claim, I found the customer on Facebook who even posted a public status in the same clothes, with the item they bought, saying how happy they was. Im sure you can imagine what happened. Buyer got refunded.....its a Joke haha.

A Buyer geniunly could even say in there Claim they just want free items, stand outside their house with a board with their name and address and saying they are a scammer and Amazon will still refund.

I need a new MacBook soon, wonder if the same rules apply when buying from Amazon directly....we will see as I fancy a free Mac!

You must go for small claims court and recover money from amazon.

Got to a small claims court, these repugnant scammers need to be taught a lesson. I have had to resort to this in the past and even though you have to pay a small fee upfront to use it, there is success.

The amount if times somebody will ring after they receive a letter from the court apologizing for the so called "mix up" is unbelievable.

I think its about time sellers stand against these people in unison. They should publicly be named & shamed. There should also be a option to block buyers if they have scammed before on amazon. I have the option on other platforms and it works a treat.

The trouble is this is putting us all out of business . Amazon are taking the """ out of us . Its happing all the time to us . also it is affecting are metrics . And after they get the refund and the product they write a bad review. Amazon sort this sh>T out.

You are killing us

I have had 3 A-Z's in 3 days (end of the month, probably waiting for their benefits to be paid), all delivered and all track with Royal Mail, all postage purchased through Amazon, all obviously fully, instantly refunded by Amazon from my money and all 3 'ODR affected'. 2 of the 3 on receiving a screenshot of the Royal Mail tracking page have now said they made a mistake, 1 has repaid by purchasing the item again, the 2nd one messaged me this morning and said it was her autistic daughter getting confused with items she had purchased on Ebay and she will repay when she has the money. After appealing all, nothing has changed, even though 2 have admitted to receiving the items and all 3 track with Royal Mail. Still despite all this, I am informed there is no proof I even dispatched the items. I doubt 99% of these A-Z's are even read anymore and the same with the appeals! It's a terrible, hopeless, soul destroying system that gets worse by the day!

Have you tried SAFE-T claim? Worth a try maybe.

I am sorry to say that nothing has changed, you can only go to the ombudsman.
