HELP - two different shipments for same inventory
Hi all,
New here to FBA selling.
I am trying to send an inventory of 160 books to Amazon. When creating the shipments they have split in two but it is to the same centre. All of the 160 books are currently mixed up in 10 different boxes. Am I going to need to individually separate these into the correct shipment or can I not just send them all off as they currently are in the boxes? Seems crazy to have individually sort the separate books.
Please note I pay Amazon to do everything including the labels.
Thanks all in advance

What exactly do you mean that they have split it into two, to the same centre?
Are you sure that the same centre isn’t actually two different ones? ie. unit 1 and unit 2?
If so, you will have no choice but to repack and resend. You could of course try and do the shipment once again as it may end up at the same centre. But I wouldn’t hold your breath on that one.

Hi Neil, apologies if I am being dim, but the address is all the same. So I have 10 boxes of goods but Amazon has split the order in two shipments. Ideally I want 1 shipment of 10 boxes. 15656013148156464692169379818619|375x500

Hi, I have never seen this happen before and have been using FBA for a number of years. It might be that some of the books are classed as large items, hence the need for separation, although if this is the case they usually get sent to different centres. Only solution I guess is to separate them.

I can see that there are preparation and labelling charges. Does one of the deliveries require preparation/ labelling and the other not?

Hi everyone thanks for your help.
So the issue was user error - Conny you are right some of the products need labelling so they have to be sent separate. I also didn’t click the button on the 2nd page to advise that Amazon would label, so that’s why they had split in two.
Thanks so much for your help, it’s all a learning curve and I’m sure I’ll get the hang off it!
Adam.
