Suspended Account
Hi,
I created an Amazon seller account last week and did everything it asked me to do. Whilst registering it only asked me for a ID which i took a picture of my driving licence front and back and sent it in.
On 04/11 I receive the following message
We were unable to verify the information you provided when registering for a Selling on Amazon payment account and, as a result, your Selling on Amazon payment account could not be opened. Unfortunately, this means that you will not be able to continue to sell on Amazon.
Please take appropriate steps to resolve any open orders. Note that any amounts paid as a result of A-to-z Guarantee claims and chargebacks may be deducted from the balance in your existing Seller Account.
I don’t understand why they have suspended my account
Can someone please help me with this
Thanks

Because they couldn’t verify your info.
Did the details on your driving licence match those on your Amazon account exactly? Letter for letter and space for space?
John Smith in your Amazon account is not the same as John David Smith on your driving licence [for example]

Hi Adrian,
Thanks for your reply.
I have entered my details correctly and it does include my full name including my middle name as it is on my licence

The image was not PDF as it did not ask for PDF
Address details match
I do not have a utility bill as I am living with parents and do not pay bills.
I did send them a PDF of my business bank account statement which has my business name on there

I am sorry to hear that your Seller Account has been deactivated after registration. This is something very common these days, in cases when some of the information or documents which you submitted raised concerns.
However, since you already received the final denial response, it indicates that you failed the review and your account will remain closed unless you manage to find out what exactly was wrong with your submissions and resend it to Amazon again.
Here are the requirements for verification documents which may help. All documents must:
-
display the same information that matches info you use to register to sell on Amazon
-
be clear and not blurry
-
be in color
-
be high-quality and unobstructed
-
be scanned images, or a photo taken from your mobile device’s camera (no screenshots)
-
display the full document (and front and back, if applicable)
-
not be expired, revoked, or closed (if applicable)
-
be in one of the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, or Turkish. If it is not in one of these languages, provide a copy of your passport and a notarized translation of your document in one of these languages.
-
be less than 10MB in size
-
be in one of these formats: *.png, *.tiff, *.tif, *.jpg, *.jpeg, and *.pdf. Do not include special characters in the file name (examples: $, &, or #)
-
be authentic and unaltered
