Amazon Renewed Returns
Hi
We sell mobile phones under the Amazon Renewed Programme.
We need clarity on return policy and Seller Support is not helping. The Amazon Renewed Guarantee says here https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GJB4W4URK6H2E6Y9
“A replacement or refund if the product is faulty, defective or does not work as expected for a period of one (1) year from delivery of the product”.
but then goes on to say a refund will be made if a replacement is NOT possible
The problem is we are getting returns that are being auto authorised by Amazon. Eg customer ordered a phone in March 2022, opened a return request, and returned the phone, we received it and there is nothing wrong with it. Now if we return it - potentially customer can send it in again by opening another return request which will get auto-authorised.
We need Amazon to stop auto authorizing
Can anyone help clarify how we do this?

This is a problem with FBA and not just the renewed program.
Basically, once you hand over control to them, they have a free hand to deal with returns as they want to.
There really isn’t much that you can do about it.

Which is effectively the same thing.
The only real difference being that your sending the items out and not Amazon.
