Safe-T Denied due to Invoice

A buyer returned goods after 80 days of invoice date. When we received his return package, the item inside was not what we shipped out, he had switched the product. We have charged buyer 100% restocking fee, however, buyer claimed his credit card did not work and the refund (the tax portion) was not successfull. Later buyer contacted Amazon Customer Service and informed CS to issue refund again because his credit card was good to use. Amazon Customer Service refunded buyer in full, $450 plus tax. What a scam!

We contacted Seller Support right after the refund was issued because we see such refund in pending status (within an hour), customer service could not stop such refund instead asked us to file safe-t claim. case ID 15553060411.

After the refund was posted, we receive an email from Amazon showing such refund was a "general adjustment". We filed safe-t claim, we provided pictures and invoices with serial numbers etc. Safe-T claims denied us because they asked for "Valid Invoices with Serial ID of the item that was sold".

We had appealed but Safe-T dept continued denied us. Not sure why??

Order ID: 114-0321573-0883425

The Invoice was the only invoice we had and it was a valid invoice with serial number and warranty statement inside.

We would like to know what Safe-T team was looking for and if there is a way to get us the reimbursement on this order even though the claim was denied/closed. We need help.

"Safe-T claims denied us because they asked for "Valid Invoices with Serial ID of the item that was sold". "

This sounds like a typical denial based on them wanting you to show proof that you are authorized to sell the products (LOA) and sourced from an authorized wholesale distributor.

So, the important questions are --

do you have an LOA from the brand?

Where did you purchase the item?

Hi @Seller_0gkMrYFoEwrOm,

Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums! Happy to see that you have received some helpful insights here.

Just checking in, were you able to submit a new claim with your LOA? If you continue to get denied after doing so, please let me know so I can escalate this further!

Thanks again,

Jameson
