Bank Account requirements

I have used my own personal bank Account until I can open a business bank account with HSBC or preferably First Direct (Div of HSBC).
I have two questions if anyone can help please …

  1. If my business bank account is in my business name and not my personal name will Seller Central allow this?
  2. When personal bank account accepted it then said something about it needing to be one of the Amazon approved banks in order to get paid out by Amazon … a list of about 6 worldwide strange unknown banks was listed. Will I be ok using my First Direct account and Credit Card?

Are you a sole trader?

If so, the bank account will most likely be you t/a business name so either will be fine as long as it matches what Amazon has in their info - so if Amazon has a middle name for you it needs to be on your bank statement, if your company is Ltd it needs to say that not Limited etc

and yes First Direct / HSBC is fine
