It's what you get when you buy your stock from a valid supply chain. Buying from Next you don't get that.

I assume they're asking for your supplier's supplier info? You don't have a way to provide that as you're buying from retail.

As above reply, what you are doing by buying from retail/high street shops will eventually land you in trouble because you cannot supply a proper invoice for the supply of your goods, you will only have store receipts, which are not acceptable on Amazon. You may get away with it for a while, doing what is called retail arbitrage, but eventually you need full and proper invoices from valid wholesalers, NOT shops.

I am guessing you have probably watched Youtube, TikTok and other online videos saying you can earn big money on Amazon - sorry, it isn't true, unless you go about it in the right way.

Supply chain invoices establish the route the goods have travelled from the manufacturer to you through wholesalers/distributors and through you on to the customer. Without all the links through reputable wholesalers/distributors Amazon cannot guarantee the authenticity of the goods and will use the term counterfeit to describe them until/unless supply chain is proven. It doesn't mean the goods are necessarily fake, it means Amazon cannot prove they are not, so will not allow them to be sold on their platform.

Items sold through retailers are being sold to the end user rather than to a reseller (much as you sell to customers on Amazon). Retailers are often reluctant to reveal their suppliers to prevent competitors getting the same/better deal than them so won't supply upstream invoices. Wholesalers/distributors usually have exclusive rights to the brand in a certain market so have no issue providing a supply invoice with redacted prices to confirm the good supplied were authentic. Someone who has bought retail also cannot resell the goods as new as they are unable to underwrite guarantees/warranties as they have no direct relationship with the brand.

If Amazon is asking for these it is often in response to a customer complaint or review that mentions the goods maybe inauthentic. Without supply chain invoices you'll eventually have to accept the violation and hope Amazon allows you to keep trading on the Amazon platform.
