Royal Mail tracked 24 delivery question
Hi,
I sent a SFP order by Royal Mail tracked 24. The customer has just emailed to say it says delivered but can I let her know who signed for it as she hasn’t received it.
I checked the tracking and it does say delivered but can’t obtain a signature. Is there any way to do this? If not what it my best course of action/response?

Was it sent requiring a signature because that is an add on with Royal Mail tracked.

Quite odd for the customer to say it’s been delivered, can you let her know who signed for it. Sounds very odd to me, unfortunately as stated unless it was signed for it’s very open and not guaranteed to win a case. I had a similar thing happen a few years ago when I purchased some lamps, the courier decided to put them in my garage which was locked but tracking stated delivered which they wasn’t but put on top of my garden shed.
As I was honest I told the seller to get a new company in and fitted the lamps. I guess some aren’t as honest as others, so it seems

well 15 of my SFP orders shipped by amazon royalmail is significantly showing delayed.
i claimed for them and amazon refunded me for these orders.
ones we send with amazon own courier is fantastic and delivers on time and no issues and the ones sent via royalmail seem to be a problem (may be due to the tracking numbers not working on their site).
I had a customer she did not get the order- and wanted me to send another yesterday.
it showed delivered and i gave her all this info and she then went back and checked at work and it was there.
so tell her to check with her family and for a card to pick up from neighbour etc.
Am sure as it is amazon who covered the shipped you will not have fund it and it wont effect your metrcis

It may be worth asking the customer to check behind the bins round the back of the property etc. as I have had this a few times, and the Postie seems to leave it in a very, very safe place, well hidden, and the customers find it after a prompt.
In addition, the item will have GPS coordinates from the delivery scan, ask the delivery office for the coordinates, that may help tracking the item down

surely if SFP you should refer them to Customer service if they have a query you have used an approved SFP carrier ?
