High refunds (FBA)
Hi
Is anyone else (FBA) seeing a high level of refunds? I appreciate it is part of the business, but since the 29th July I have had 15 refunds. All different products, some have reasons, other’s don’t. Reasons range from incompatibility, wrong item ordered but nothing untoward.
Sales, units wise from the 29th have been c500 items, and that still puts it at 3% which, to me seems high.

For the 25,000 items I have sold via FBA, I have a refund % of 2.47. I would say 1.5-2% of those will be sellable in new/used conditions so net impact is c1-1.5%.

Not specifically seen a spike, the 29th and 30th had a fair few refunds but then yesterday and today (so far) has seen none at all.
This is the normal pattern for me and averages out at around 1% of orders most months.

Depends on what you sell, in many industries 3% would be very good on Amazon
One of my products was 10% on amazon.de for a while, suffice to say I stopped sending it there
