Unfulfillable FBA inventory to be removed after 23 days

We’re updating our FBA inventory required removals policy to create more room for your products and help you save on storage fees.

Starting September 16, 2024, if you haven’t enabled automated unfulfillable settings in the UK or EU, we will dispose of or donate unfulfillable inventory after 23 days’ notice instead of 30.

To avoid disposal, you can create a manual removal order or configure automated settings to:

  • Liquidate: to recover some value; or
  • Return: to have inventory sent to your return-to address or a third-party freight forwarder.

Once we create a disposal order after 23 days’ notice, it can’t be cancelled.

For removal instructions, go to Remove inventory from a fulfilment centre.

For more information on the policy, go to FBA inventory required removals.

Note: We’re committed to a circular economy in the EU. When a disposal order is created, we donate or recycle everything we can. For more information, go to FBA Donations programme.

I am always asking for stuff to be returned but it is just ignored probably swapped and no longer available

this process of removals is very opaque, especially in Europe
