Keeping an out of stock listing active (FBA)
Hi All,
When you are out of stock but have a shipment booked in, is there any way to keep the listing active with a delayed shipping date to generate some orders?
I had an instance last month where I was out of stock and amazon activated the listing before receiving my shipment but on this occasion it is just staying inactive.

Nothing you can do to make it happen, I believe.

Hi Jack,
Personally, the only way i stay active is by creating an FBM listing, obviously, this means you have to have the means of packing the item and shipping it yourself then put the price up a couple more pounds for the difference in postage.
this is also good to just stop your listing losing its place on the first page etc…

I think its called the in-stock head start - @Demel can confirm
But I think it depends how busy they are and where in the system your goods are
