Used items and "invoices"
Hello Amazon, please address your policies that are incompatible with used items. Generally speaking, Amazon allows for sale of some used items, yet requires invoices for such items at times (to verify purchase, supply chain, etc) in certain circumstances. Yet, there is no such thing as an invoice for a used item 99% of the time.
Invoices for item that were manufactured in 1980, for example, do not exist, and if they did, they would not be up to date enough for Amazon's policies anyway, where invoices need to be under a year old.
A buyback model, for example, is one that used by used item sellers. But these are used items bought off various people wanting to get a little cash, not large suppliers with 1000s of fresh items ready to sell to you that can be resold on Amazon.
You need to develop a new policy, because this destroys small businesses if they face false claims.

If you aren't in it as a business partner, they do not want the people just wanting a little extra cash selling here. Thats what Facebook marketplace and eBay are for.
Are you referring to small businesses or people looking for extra cash? Th whole point of invoices are to ensure the validity of the product. A used item cannot be verified and therefore is open to all sorts of claims.
