Quick question for other Seller-fulfilled-prime (SFP) Sellers (27/04/2024)

We despatch on a Monday - Friday and Prime orders only on a Sunday

but all the orders we would expect to be requiring to be sent on Sunday 27/04/2024 say despatch deadline Monday 28/04/2024

the orders in question are all labelled as "Second Day" but all show delivery deadline of Tuesday 29/04/2024 (which of course is next day)

I would ask seller support but . . . .

post. Same here - no orders showing for Sunday collection. Never happened before. All showing Monday despatch for Tuesday delivery. Not even sure of how to explain to seller support 😕

@Julia_Amzn - any idea of this issue?

With SFP - We seem to have a mix, some showing Sunday shipping, but some showing Monday to be sent, even though ordered on time.

Even worse is this Order ID: # 205-4735568-7709934 - SFP parcel, so as Prime, it MUST be shipped today (Sunday), for delivery on Monday. This one is showing that ok.

In the UK, the only courier to collect on a Sunday is DPD. DPD collect from us every Sunday. However, DPD is NOT shown as an option. Only Evri, or Royal Mail.

DPD inform us that the delivery should be Monday, if collected on Sunday to that address, but we cannot book the parcel.

Royal Mail can scan in the parcel on a Sunday, so it does not show as late dispatch, BUT, I gather unless somewhere like London, Birmingham, etc, the parcel does not go anywhere, it just sits there until the next day, so then delivery will always be late, estimated as being on Tuesday.

Evri do not collect on a Sunday, except for a few days a year, eg around Christmas. You can take to a Evri Store, and they can scan the parcel, so it does not show as late dispatch, but Evri seem pretty useless at Next Day, so lucky if there on Tuesday. Impossible to be there on a Monday. (I took one to a Locker last time, but that showed late dispatch as well, even though scanned on the Sunday, why?)

I have the settings correct as far as I have been told before.

I assume it is Amazon settings, they just do not have in the system that DPD are the only courier to work in most areas on a Sunday. As such impossible not to get a delivery defect, which can make a difference to the Buy Box, as estimated as being later than it should be.

OTHER SELLINGS HAVING THIS ISSUE, or a way to get around it?

Then... I just happened to alter to 20Kg, 1 gram, so 1 gram over the maximum allowed by Royal Mail, then it offered DPD as a way of sending, but showed they take 2 days to deliver a Next Day delivery!

I opened a case with seller support.

who despite being given a sample order number then asked for a screen shot and details of an affected order.

re provided the information.

then then asked for a list of all affected orders (we had already said it was all the prime orders and the date range)

anyway provided a list of all affected orders (despatch Monday 2 day delivery but must be there by Tuesday)

and also a further list of Prime Next Day orders that were now showing despatch by Monday for delivery Tuesday (but this 2nd batch of orders were placed before the cut off time for Sunday despatch)

Apart from the aggro of running around fixing these orders and ensuring they all get there on time.

My concern is that our true (fast) delivery times are not being reflected on the product pages and a loss of buy box as a result.

It is also working the other way.

Order from today Sunday 28th (before the cut off time) - says send by Monday 29th for next day delivery but customer delivery promise is shown as Thursday 2nd May

And the support case?

It has been deleted by seller support and is no longer in our case log (case id 9746302472)

Perhaps @Julia_Amzn(is that the right tag?) can take a look and see how and who deleted it.

We raised a case with seller support and got the usual waffled response which deviated away from the actual issue.

If I'm 100% honest I think that the system behind the scenes hasn't been updated from the bank holiday last year and this is the reason for the extra padding.

One of the largest companies in the world Amazon makes the most basic mistakes.

poposte are having the same issue this week too. Original case is still open with no resolution.

Another Sunday with no orders to ship as all have come through as ship Tuesday.

@Julia_Amzn

can you or one of the admins please take a look at this,

it would seem that again this weekend no orders will be requiring a weekend despatch for us as a prime seller

customer promise would again appear to be Tuesday delivery (and not Monday)

it is expensive for us to operate at weekends (as required to partake in Seller Fulfilled Prime) - and we have contracted shipping volumes to meet in order to have a weekend courier collection

A customer shopping on Amazon after 16:00 on a Friday but before our cut off on a Sunday are not being offered delivery on Monday (either as a prime member or a non prime customer paying a premium delivery fee) when placing a prime order they are either choosing to purchase from other competitors who also match us for Tuesday delivery - but possibly at a lower price.

Or those customers who do require the product by Monday - will purchase elsewhere entirely.

The matter was raised by us 2 weeks ago on this forum - and we and other sellers have unresolved support cases with seller support.

We're in the same boat!

For the third week in a row, our prime orders are not coming through with delivery for Saturday, but with delivery for Monday. This means we are currently paying staff to come in on a Saturday, when there there seems to be no reason to!

Our prime settings are set to ship on Saturday, as per the prime regulations.

Do we have confirmation that there is actually an ongoing problem.
