Deactivation of new seller account

Hi, my account was recently deactivated before I got to send inventory to amazon.

I set up the seller account using an existing business registered at Companies House (CH) the certificate of incorporation was uploaded for verification.

I then decided to change the business name to match my branding that had just been approved by the IPO.

My business bank account name was also changed to align with the new business name.

Please note that these were just name changes and the existing reference number of the CH certificate and the bank account number remain the same.

I did ask for advice on this from seller central help email, this was then transferred and I didn’t get a reply.

My bank details were uploaded and are still shown as verified on seller central.

Then I was deactivated. I understand this may have been because the verification check was against the old name but the new name is now showing at companies house. The final piece of the puzzle is, I changed my company address to my home address (previously at my accountants).

All of this documentation is available on company house records but due the deactivation there is no way for me to resubmit for verification.

I also have a signed letter from my business bank to confirm the name change is authorised.

I hope that this reads methodically and kindly ask if there is a way I can upload all the documents for verification and reactivate my account?

Kind regards

Bruce

Hi, yes it is TRI-TEK PRO. ‘LTD’. I have only quoted the trade mark name and not referenced the ‘limited’ part, apologies for that.

As you correctly pointed out, the bank account details on seller central make reference to the old business name which was 'BW Design and Build Ltd. these are indicated as verified on seller central.

The bank account name has also been changed to TRI-TEK PRO LTD but due to the suspension I have not updated on the system. I hasten to add that it is only the name that was changed and the bank sort code and account number remain the same. I did reach out on the case log regarding the changes. I have attached two snips from my case log where I discuss the name changes.

The business name change is referenced on companies house on the original certification reference number as only the name was changed.

I also have a signed letter from my business bank account that confirms the name change and the sort code and account number remains the same as the verified account on seller central.

All of the above was carried out because I was trying to align the names with my trade mark. Since the suspension I can now see that this has created the problem with verification when the latest public records do not reflect the original documentation I signed up with.

I have all the relevant documentation that methodically proves these changes but I am unable to resubmit due to the suspension.

I trust that this reads in a coherent manor and you can provide me to issue all the relevant documentation to allow my suspension to be lifted.

Kind regards
Bruce

Thank you for your correspondence but it appears to be an incredible waste of time.
My account is suspended and I can not even start to trade.

Why would amazon want to keep the account just sitting dormant? I have conversed with some very nice amazon operatives (Julia) regarding this situation. Just as it looks there is a discussion to resolve the situation ‘The little shop’ shuts the door. Very strange way to run a business. I dont have the energy or time for this anymore, if there is a way to verify the vast amount of information I have been relaying recently please advise but if there is not just say and I shall concentrate my efforts somewhere else for my own sanity and the welfare of my family.
Thanks

Thanks for the contact but it’s clearly a waste of time spent tying i che forum with no real decisive information.
However it is odd that someone that is not an operative has free rein to make commentary as if the are.
I have actually had some venom spat at myself. It’s quite toxic.
I will take my chances else where.
