Hello All
I am a Handmade seller on Amazon and I am also the manufacturer of my products.
Occasionally there are missing FBA Inbound items that need to be investigated, and I submit a Packing Slip etc and details of the missing items. BUT, often this isn't enough and the Amazon agent asks for an invoice from the manufacturer. But if the seller is also the manufacturer, how can I do this? I do not invoice myself.
Does anyone have any advice how about how to submit a valid invoice to prove the ownership of products they make themselves? Or how to navigate around this?
I try to point out the Amazon policy to the agent, but they don't seem to always understand. Very frustrating.
Kind Regards
Peter

If you are the manufacturer, send a copy of the signed packing slip. The packing slip must include the following information:
- Packing list date that is on or before the date of shipment
- Shipment or purchase order ID
- Product names of the missing items
- Quantity shipped
- Manufacturer signature or stamp

They shouldn't be asking you for a manufacturer's invoice. When the Seller is the manufacturer, their terms and conditions say that a packing slip, signed and dated to that shipment should be enough.
Since they're going against their own rules, it's difficult to give advice.
There are scenarios when people have had to have their 'manufacturing division' invoice their 'sales division' in order to create a document Amazon will accept for various things, so I would try that.
Make sure the product name appears exactly on the invoice as it does on the listing, as well as any product identifier, if you aren't using a GTIN exemption.
