We use Royal Mail 48 on i would say 98% of our orders. Our VTR hovers around 80%. However, as amazon state that they will validate unscanned tracking numbers for the RM48 service, there shouldn’t be an issue.

I can’t advise on how much it would cost to buy via Amazon, but there is no issue with what you are currently doing.

Obviously depends on size and weight.
Large Letter size are same price as RM online C&D, or over the counter at a PO.
Small parcels up to 2kg are currently £2.85 (2nd Class) via Buy Shipping - cheaper than at the PO (also the other prices for the various delivery options are the same as C&D, I believe).
You can also choose Evri if you want.
I don’t know how much RM 48 is so cannot compare.

You link your RM account to amazon and pay the same as you are now. You also still pay RM not amazon

Go to settings - account info - buy delivery preferences - manage your carrier accounts and add your RM account number
After 24 hours when you go to buy postage on amazon you’ll see the RM24 and 48 options - it’ll say CRL next to it
