Is it me of is Safe T claims getting worse?
When this refund on first scan started and then customers using incorrect reason codes to get free return postage, it was simple to make a claim under safe-t claims to get the cost of postage back.
Recently however it is getting harder to do so, having to send claim after claim because they keep denying the original claim.
I understand some products have free returns, but this is for items that don’t fit or buyer ordered the wrong colour, or not suitable, whatever, for an item that does not have free returns, but buyer puts not as described as the reason. Does this mean Amazon is starting to count the cost of this?

Looking at your reasons they sound like clothing returns, which all count for free returns no matter the reason.

I think the OP was just using those as suggestions of things that did get free returns, looking up their name, they sell horse equipment and accessories. You would have the issue of fit, but they in no would sit in the clothing category.
That’s certainly quite possible. I imagine a lot is down to the system being overloaded, and the quickest way to get a case off your pile is to reject it, especially for something like not as described, the proof can sometimes be difficult.
If amazon are getting more requests for Safe-T Claims for cost of postage, due to wrong return reason used - its possible the system dealing with it is becoming overwhelmed.

yes, horse equipment, not clothing or footwear. The reason is not as described, but then the buyer in comments puts, does not fit, or asked for wrong size etc, so is very clear.
I had one person message me, after I emailed them to ask what the problem was, replied he only used that reason so as to get free postage.
We used to get all our claims processed in a few hours, but now about 50% are rejected with no reason given.
