Amazon and shipping credits
Would anyone know if AMZ is going to raise the shipping credits? Because what AMZ is allowing for shipping costs the price of shipping has doubled this year.
I'm FBM and it seems that I have to raise the price of goods in order to get a decent profit. Other sites are raising their shipping rates.

I have not heard anything about raising shipping credits. I sell FBM and FBA and I dont recall ever getting a shipping credit. While it would be nice to receive some sort of subsidy I dont see why Amazon would pay for another company to ship an item.
Shipping is going up, adjust prices accordingly

I'm with @Seller_Qbd0RsfZFEZBY on this one.
I do not sell on a single site where I am dependent on the SITE for recovering shipping costs ENTIRELY for me.
Even if I were on a site with a set shipping charge the SELLER has to set prices to make a profit.
For example, Amazon has had $3.99 shipping for books for YEARS and that is before their slice of the pie for fees. It is unlikely to change any time in the future BECAUSE they want all the sellers to be on the PROFESSIONAL PLAN.
Why? KACHING!! That $40/month adds up to a LOT of money for them.
I don't know what you are shipping but of the over 10,000 items I ship a year I have not had shipping prices double on ANYTHING in the past 12 months.
Media mail is up 7.6% =/- with this latest hike on Sunday. My other First Class have held the same or minimally increased. UPS is up nowhere near even 10% with my discounted Endicia/Dazzle discounted rates.
