VTR, only a handful of orders taken into account
Another VTR question, and a bit of a poll really to see if anyone else has this too.
Our VTR rate hovers around the 80% mark but it only looks at 80 or so orders of a possible 1800 so it skews the figures really badly.
We ship using Royal, DPD , TNT and Amazon Shipping. Can anyone shed a light on this?

That means the other 1720 orders have been exempted from the metrics by using an exempted shipping method such as stamps/franking, buying shipping directly from amazon buy shipping without a link RM account or because your carrier is not integrated with amazon

on the report they have no tracking, but in the order they would be a range of things from tnt dpd dhl and CRL Royal Mail, we only send parcels

Sorry yes I do understand , I just can’t see why amazon logistics comes through as RM
Hopefully someone else who uses amazon logistics will come on here and clarify if theirs are like that or not

I have 100% VTR off 2 orders both sent tracked. The rest go 2nd class standard so dont count. I always make sure there is at least 1 tracked item per month to get my 100%. easy

I will not buy from Amazon, I have a post office next door to my shop and send all sign for, my tracking by amazon is now 83.47, try and work that out

I had a listing closed by Amazon because they said the track rate was 30%, which is baloney. Since being notified that items with less than 95% may be closed, we have sent all such orders by Hermes tracked and I personally update those orders in the shipping details, so I know the details are in there against each order.
I just can’t be bothered continually fighting against this nonsense that Amazon dream up to force you to use their services, like FBA and buying shipping at retail prices through them. It won’t be too long before almost all seller fulfilled orders are a thing of the past, or have to be paid for through Amazon.
