How to Change Variation Name
As the title suggests, i'm wanting to add a custom variation name to our variants. Is this possible, and if so, how?

The "proper" way to handle it is to contact seller support and ask them to change your "size name." It’s usually a locked attribute, but with a bit of persistence, it can be updated. Definitely give a flat file a shot first.
Or, you could take a shortcut! (cheat) Most items have multiple types of variations, like "scent name," "colour name," or "pattern name." Just pick one that fits—personally, I go with "pattern," since it can be anything—and then tweak the listing to use "pattern" for variations instead of size.
