Adding a product

why is it a galactic space mission to add a product listing on Amazon?? I have thoroughly proven that my company owns the brand and manufactures the products I wish to list. The FBI doesn’t interrogate murderers like this.

But seriously, being both the manufacturer and the owner of the products should entitle automatically the listings’ control: when this is not the case, then what is the point of registering brands on the marketplace? (I don’t know why, but a specific book from some dude named “Asimov” springs to mind).
