Patent infringement

Hello, can someone shed light on the patent or trademark infringement process?

I want to know whether someone who is reporting an infringement required to provide documentary proof of a patent violation before they raise a case?
I just had two listings removed just because someone believes i have infringed (i havent!) and am now having to provide documentary proof and wait for resolution before i can relist. this costs money.

I believe the reporting process might be automated, so unfortunately its open for people to file false/incorrect claims to take your listing down, until you submit documents for a manual review.

They don’t take long to review, just a couple days.
