Not sure if there’s an issue with the bot, but over the past week I’ve had 7 ‘warnings’ from Amazon (see below), saying my items are defective. Been selling them for 2+ years, voice of the customer has them all as ‘Good’ or ‘Excellent’, and reviews are all 4.6+ / 5.
There’s something on this on the US forums, but nothing here. Seems Amazon has perhaps changed the ‘boundaries’ causing lots of these emails to be sent out.
The annoying thing is I’m 95% sure it’s customers just marking items as defective to get a free return, as whenever I create removal orders the units work perfectly.
It’s easy enough to clear the warning off your account, but it’s frustrating to keep receiving these more or less every day, when I’ve never had issues before.
We received buyer complaints that a product they received from you was defective or does not function as expected from the description on the product detail page. The items we received complaints about are listed at the end of this email. Your listings are still active.
Why did I receive this message?
Amazon has several product detail and listing policies to ensure customers have a consistent buying experience and receive items in the condition they expect.
What happens now?
Your listings are still active. However, to remove these violations from your account, visit the Account Health page in Seller Central and click on the appeal link next to the impacted ASIN and follow the instructions provided:
What happens if I do not address the violation?
If you do not follow the appeal instructions presented on Seller Central, the violation will remain on your Account Health page. If we continue to receive additional complaints, we may remove your listings.
Was this action taken in error?
If you believe the complaints about your items are unjustified or received in error, please explain how you identified this issue and we will investigate your concern (for example, a complaint created by a competing Amazon seller).
