Problems linking brand registry to seller account

Hi All, this is my first time posting. So I have successfully registered by own brand on the Amazon brand register and have GS1 numbers for all the products that I intend to sell, basically everything is water tight in terms of set up and lining up all the details on my end. I had issues when I tried to list my first product, as was getting a 5461 error. Amazon support told me to send photos of my products and prove that I had the GS1 etc…none of which made sense give that I own the brand, which owns the GS1 numbers
I’m still going in circles on that front with them, but in the meantime, I realised that I could not see my brand when I go into the stores option. It says that I don’t have any brand registered. This made me wonder if this is the reason for my product listing issue. I then asked Brand register support to help link my brand to my amazon seller account. They replied with “Upon checking, we see that you have not yet accepted Brand Registry’s Terms and Conditions. This action must be completed before we can connect your seller account to the brand account. Please log into Brand Registry and accept Terms and Conditions.”

This is confusing, because no where has this option to accept the terms been presented to me during the set up. In fact, the brand register shows my brand as now registered. On top of that, there is no where on the brand registry where you can just go in and accept the terms and conditions. I chased them to ask where i can accept the terms and they responded with “Please go to the brand registry page where you may search for terms and conditions and from there your may accept them.”

I am going mad here, none of the advice they are giving stacks up to the reality of using the website functionality. There is no search function in the brand registry!

Has anyone had this issue and can offer practical help for this issue. It is so so frustrating as I thought that my diligence in obtaining my trademarks, company , GS1 registration was all very thorough, only to be up ended by these Amazon technical issues

Many thanks

Hi,

Did you manage to fix this? I’m having the same issue with the T&Cs not being marked as accepted.

“Upon checking, we see that you have not yet accepted Brand Registry’s Terms and Conditions. This action must be completed before we can connect your seller account to the brand account. Please log into Brand Registry and accept Terms and Conditions.”

I’m trying to give my US account permission to edit my brands listing. Currently only my UK account has permission. But according to seller support my US account hasn’t accepted T&Cs. Issue is my US and UK account are linked with same login credentials so I’m unsure how to get my US account to accept the terms.

Interesting. We are having the exact same circular conversation with US brand registry support when looking to expand to the US.

We can log in to brand registry and even have our registered brand displayed, etc. But any question to brand registry only gets replied to with the same templated response, even when we attach proof that we can log in and there is no t&c option.

“Upon checking, we see that you have not yet accepted Brand Registry’s Terms and Conditions. This action must be completed before we can connect your seller account to the brand account. Please log into Brand Registry and accept Terms and Conditions.”

@FNNNK

Interesting. Have used that link and accepted the terms and conditions, so will see if that does anything.

Though I noted that if one follows the link again the same option to accept the t&c remains, which hardly provides confidence that they have been acknowledged as having been accepted.

I’m wondering if our issue is due to having the same email/login for our EU and US accounts, albeit managed through the same seller interface.

We are basically told that our EU account has accepted the t&c, but not our US account. However, there doesn’t appear to be any way to specifically accept as one of the other given that the email and password are the same across both.

Hi.

I eventually did get my issue resolved. To be honest, its been a while so i cant recall exactly how. I think i managed it via a chat with soeone who actually understood the issue and they linked the brand with the store for me in the background. They asked me to wait for a while and then to try accessing the storefront. This worked for me. So i think it boils down to the connection being made. I never did end up with terms and conditions to accept from what I recall, but I will try and retrace my footsteps and check my messages to be sure. Ill then post an update. But the key was to have someone who actually was prepared to listen on the chat and not fob me off like so may of the support people. This was down to luck

@WOW_DTL
That would be very helpful. Unfortunately, I think the chat function is no longer, or certainly for now, not available, which makes it quite difficult to get passed the initial keyword triggered template responses.
