And…? Just because Amazon is an online system does not mean that everything gets done instantaneously. Like everyone else, they get busy and overloaded, so it takes time to deal with all the problems thrown at them. And if you keep contacting them, you are likely just to go to the back of the queue. There are no shortcuts, priority routes or bypasses

Chips1 I know it is infuriating, having been there many hundreds of times. Selling on Amazon is a long term proposition. No quick fixes unless you are a miracle worker. Likely as not you will get a response that doesn’t answer your original query. The secret is to take a deep breath, and don’t give up. If your problem is not answered in 2-3 days, ask them to escalate it. Wait a further 2-3 days and ask again. I have had queries await a response for months, so strap in for a bumpy ride.
As a previous commenter suggested, post your query on the forum as you will get a faster, more accurate reply.
Dont be downcast, it will work out in the end.

I still have cases transferred from 2019, Once I see the word transferred my heart sinks as I know I will never hear anything about it again. My experience is if the problem is difficult forget about getting any help.

I’m in the same situation right now, my problem is regarding IOSS and it keeps getting sent over to the “tax specialist department” I keep getting the same message as you with the odd message asking a question about something that is not relevant to the enquiry. This has been going on since July/ August, in the meantime it’s effected my business the whole time they’ve dragged their feet.

I’ve opened a case back in 2020 and still getting the same response. Agree with the above comments, most of them are auto response. Don’t waste your time but if you can call them, you may have better chance.
